I love the layers and lines in this photo of our kayaks on an early summer afternoon. We are fortunate to have a river running right through town so we can get out on the water for a paddle in no time at all. The layers show the diminishing levels of the water after the spring run-off.

As the view out the window enters the gray phase of fall-winter transition, the bright colors of this photo were so welcome!

I know what you mean! It’s so weird to look at out-of-season photos and think, was the sky really that blue? Did we really play in that water? Walk around in swimsuits?

Lines, lines everywhere. Great shot!

Thanks! I agree, it’s not just the layers in the riverbank, it’s all the lines in this photo. It was so bright out, I just pointed the camera and clicked, unable to see what I was really getting. One of those lucky shots. 🙂

Well, then you really deserve a well done! My eyes instantly went to all the various lines and their individual directions. I don’t know much about photography, but I like what I like and this shot is beautiful. 🙂
