This week’s photo challenge is ONE.
It looks as if I photoshopped this leaf onto a white background, doesn’t it? Nothing too exciting.
But this lone leaf was actually on my sunroof one gloomy late fall day. It looks as if it may have been the last to fall from my five tall elms.
Now you can see that the first photo is just a close up of this one leaf taken from a slightly different angle.
I hope you like this interpretation of ONE. I can’t wait to see what others come up with. The Weekly Photo Challenges are such fun!

I love your interpretation of ONE. Sometimes I think about trying photography at a real basic level, but I have a hard time even photographing my own quilt progress. Luckily, my husband doesn’t mind doing that. Still, I admire people who do these kinds of challenges. I think this one would be great blown up and framed! Above my computer table. 😀

Glad you like it. I am not a real photographer (uh oh, sounds like my “I am not a real runner” mindset) with a real camera. I do, however, carry my camera, just a little point and shoot, with me at all times. My camera makes every activity and outing more fun and helps me to notice and appreciate the beauty around me.

Wow, and clever Randee, clever.

I didn’t do anything. Just looked up, saw a leaf, took a picture. Don’t blame me.

Ooh like! It could have been a single leaf sitting on snow. Glad you could capture just what occurred naturally. Thanks for the explanation, I always enjoy hearing the background on a piece.
I enjoy my occasional photography forays, will give this a go and follow the daily prompt as well.

You’ll love the weekly photo challenge, even if you’re just a casual photographer with a pocket digital, like myself. It’s funny that I didn’t see the leaf as being on snow. The reason being, I believe, that I was looking up as I took it, not down, but of course it looks as if it’s laying on the snow. Glad you liked it!
