Dec 15, 2013 @ 22:52:08The “hill” behind you in 3 of the pics seems to be more of a mound. It appears to have two layers or a strata to it. I wonder if it was purposely built, perhaps a long time ago or maybe just a geological formation. Hmmm….. very cool post. π

Dec 16, 2013 @ 04:51:20The hill is one of three and is part of the “three sisters” area that sits between a large existing trail system and the last subdivision on the edge of town. The community was really hoping it’d be trails and not another neighborhood. Thanks for reading, my friend!

Dec 16, 2013 @ 12:27:37It was fun with the group. And I can handle almost anything for just three hours. π

Dec 17, 2013 @ 14:45:27I wish I could do more. To think that I only helped with a QUARTER MILE out of all the amazing trails out here. π

This week’s Photo Challenge is Community.
As I browsed through my photo files for different ways in which the theme of community could be interpreted, I kept coming back to this set of photos from a day of building trail. Not only was this a community effort, but it was done in the spirit of improving our community and its exceptional system of trails.
